Program Development
Dr. A develops and implements cognitive and learning programs for your educational institution to augment your current educational and clinical program. These comprehensive programs address the needs of bright students who are already achieving to unlock even greater potential. It further addresses the needs of students who may be struggling with underlying cognitive skill issues such as memory, processing speed, reading, concentration, and attention span. This service evaluates staff, current and potential student needs and identifies programs and services to benefit them. Dr. A will assist in implementation, training and hiring of staff for the specific programs to be utilized as well as ongoing consultation, reinforcement and on going research and adjustment will be conducted to assure the program is effective and right for the clients and the programs.
Educational Settings
The field of neuroscience is rapidly growing, with new research that continually suggests new interventions indicated to best fit the students. We find a gap between neuroscience and applicability in the classroom setting. Choosing what interventions ought to be brought to the classroom to improve learning can be a big project. Learning about the applications of the research in the classroom, adapting and altering or tweaking the way in which we do things can be a challenge.
Dr. A also provides hands-on workshop designed to bring administrators, educators and parents the most up-to-date findings to help them clearly identify and connect the latest social, emotional, and developmental brain science research with its implications for the classroom.
